Valentine Card

Glenmore Mansion hosted a Victorian Valentine's Day event on Saturday, February 2, 2008. Forty ladies of all ages had a grand time.

We made Victorian-style Valentine greeting cards with guidance from area crafters. Afterward, our guests enjoyed tea and scones, Victorian-style (china cups!), and toured the mansion.

Please visit our Scrapbook (link in menu) to view pictures from the day's activities.

If you're unfamiliar with the importance of Valentine's Day to Victorian-era people, there is an on-line exhibition with gorgeous examples at Indiana University Web site.
